Paul Malandrino completed his tenure on May 31, 2024, retiring after serving 17 years as the Vice President of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and Manager of Reagan National Airport. His remarkable leadership and career achievements covered 58 years, which included 30 years of military dedication. Malandrino successfully steered Reagan National Airport through significant challenges and expansions, such as managing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and overseeing transformations due to extensive construction to address escalating passenger traffic.
